About
Put the machine where the work is.
Every generation of American industry found a machine that multiplied what its people could do. The professions that keep confidences were told to skip this one. We disagree.
OnPrem Intelligence makes one thing: an AI appliance, delivered and installed, that answers from your documents without sending a word of them anywhere. The software it runs is ours. We call it Dura OS™.
The people we serve hold files that cannot be sent away. Matter files under privilege. Clinical records. Claim files, well logs, closed-session minutes. For them, confidentiality is written into the rules the work runs under, so a policy-document promise was never going to be enough. We build the promise into the hardware.
This site is set like a printed book on purpose. The drawings on these pages are pen-and-ink studies of working machines: a Jacquard loom, a weaving workshop, a shipwright at his hull. Each one ran its owner’s instructions, on site, under the owner’s eye.
Those machines meant more cloth from the same hands and more hulls down the same slipway, and the world was better off for the surplus. We build for the same multiplication in the professions, with the files staying put.
It shapes how the product behaves, too. Everything the appliance does goes on the record: question, answer, and tool call alike, in an audit chain kept for your compliance officer. A machine that answers to you should show its work. We run the company the same way.

The principals
Patrick H. Stone
Co-founder & CEO
A practicing attorney. The privilege this appliance protects is the one he works under every day, and he writes the contracts our clients sign. He swore an oath to keep his clients’ confidences, and decided the software should be held to it too.
Dallas Snyder
Co-founder & COO
He builds the systems that make regulated firms run, and he was running language models on his own hardware before most people knew it could be done. The appliance exists because he wanted one, and no one sold it.
